Why Ruakura matters in the Hamilton growth story

Hamilton City Council describes Ruakura as a partnership project intended to deliver an “innovative and sustainable community” and an engine for economic growth on the city’s east side. When fully developed, Council notes Ruakura will be home to up to 1,600 homes for about 4,000 people, and that more than 500 homes had already been completed at Greenhill Park.
